2023 Vintage Notes (VFTC #115)

Not a cellar visit — three wines tasted by the glass at La Ciboulette restaurant in Beaune. All served from magnum.

  • Auxey-Duresses Blanc 2023: 90 pts (2025–2045) — crisp, complex, fine soil undertow
  • Auxey-Duresses Rouge 2022: 90+ pts (2030–2050+) — elegant, soil-transparent; “a bit young for drinking”
  • Pommard 2022: 91 pts (2032–2070) — “very elegant example of young Pommard”; “superb bottle in due course”
